Save the date for Saturday, September 12, 2026, as we celebrate two special milestones in the history of the Ballston Community Public Library:
- 25 years in our current library building
- 70 years of the Friends of the Ballston Community Public Library
The Board of Trustees is currently planning this special community celebration and is looking for volunteers to join the Celebration Planning Committee. If you’d like to help make this event a success, we’d love to hear from you!
We’re also looking for photos, documents, and stories that highlight the library’s history. Whether you have cherished memories of library events, snapshots of the building through the years, or historical materials to share, we’d love to include them in our celebration display.

- Email digital photos, documents, or stories to BCPL25thCelebration@gmail.com
- Drop off physical photos or documents at the library for us to scan or display
If you bring physical items, please include your name and contact information so they can be safely returned to you.

Help us celebrate 25 years in our current building and 70 years of the Friends of the Ballston Community Public Library by sharing your favorite library memories through photography!
Submit an old favorite photo or capture a new one featuring the library—inside, outside, or around the grounds.

After submissions close, finalists will be posted for community voting, and the winning photographer will receive a gift card.
