The Ballston Community Public Library is celebrating two very special milestones, and we want you to be part of the celebration!
Join us on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. as we celebrate 25 years in our current library building and 70 years of the Friends of the Ballston Community Public Library.
For 25 years, our current building has been a place where our community comes together to discover, learn, create, connect, and enjoy all that the library has to offer. For 70 years, the Friends of the Ballston Community Public Library have supported the library and helped strengthen its programs and services through their dedication, fundraising, and volunteer efforts. These milestones are an opportunity to celebrate the history of both the library and the Friends—and, most importantly, the community that has supported them along the way.
Fun for All Ages!
Bring the whole family and enjoy a morning of activities, including:
- Scavenger Hunt – Explore the library and see what you can discover!
- Kids’ Crafts – Get creative with a fun hands-on activity for young visitors.
- Swag Bags – Take home a special memento of the celebration.
- And More! – There will be plenty of opportunities to celebrate, connect with friends and neighbors, and enjoy the library.
Whether you have been visiting the library for decades or are discovering us for the first time, we invite you to join us for this special occasion. Come celebrate the memories, people, programs, and community connections that have helped make the Ballston Community Public Library an important part of our community.
